With the development of technology and artificial intelligence, medical robots have also emerged in the healthcare industry. The emergence of medical robots has greatly reduced the workload of doctors and improved medical efficiency. Medical robots refer to robots used for medical treatment or medical assistance in hospitals and clinics; they are a type of intelligent service robot that can independently formulate operation plans, determine action procedures according to actual conditions, and then convert the actions into the movement of operating mechanisms.
Medical robots are also applied in daily life. On February 7, 2015, the surgical robot "da Vinci" completed the first robotic cholecystectomy in Hubei Province at Wuhan Union Hospital. Compared with traditional manual surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery has three obvious advantages: it breaks through the limitations of the human eye, magnifying the surgical field of view 20 times; it breaks through the limitations of the human hand, enabling operations in 7 dimensions and avoiding possible hand tremors; and it does not require open surgery, with an incision of only 1 centimeter, less bleeding, and faster recovery, improving postoperative survival and recovery rates.
The application of robot technology in healthcare is a good thing. To improve its safety factor, researchers have been continuously striving in R&D, and with continuous technological progress, the technology will become increasingly perfected. In the field of artificial intelligence robots, medical robots have improved efficiency in surgery.
