Peking University Cancer Hospital has 34 clinical departments, 14 medical technology departments, and 17 basic research departments. The hospital has nearly 2,400 staff members; among the authorized staff, there are 124 with senior professional titles and 211 with associate senior professional titles.

Peking University Cancer Hospital has 1 national key discipline (Oncology), 2 national key clinical specialties (Oncology and Pathology), 4 Beijing municipal key disciplines (Beijing Gastric Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center, Beijing Breast Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center, Beijing Imaging Interventional Therapy Center, and Ultrasound Diagnosis Center), 1 key discipline of the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and Geriatric Oncology), 1 inheritance studio for national renowned veteran traditional Chinese medicine experts, and 2 Beijing Scholar studios.
